G. K. Goh Holdings originated from the creation by Mr Goh Geok Khim in 1979 of a Singapore stockbroking company. Following its listing in 1990, the group grew to become one of the most significant non-bank securities companies in Southeast Asia.
In 2005, the securities businesses were entirely sold. A part of the cash proceeds was returned to shareholders, while the balance was redeployed towards other investments. Group net assets amounted to S$313 million at the end of 2010.

Hong Kong and Malaysia;
- Platinum Holdings Ltd (22%), a Hong Kong based boutique investment bank;
- Value Managers Ltd (50%), a Singapore-based private equity fund manager;
- Bromius Capital (20%), a boutique M&A advisory company specialising in energy and mining assets.
- euNetworks Limited (9%), an SGX-listed company which owns and operates fibre networks in 14 European cities.
- Eastern & Oriental Ltd (4%), a KLSE-listed property and lifestyle group.
